Wanda is a wonderful hostess and very accommodating. The bedrooms are lush and comfortable. The instructions were very helpful.

This is an amazing place!!! Beautiful old house with tons of character. It is in great shape and very well taken care off. We stayed here with 4 moms and 7 kids. We have all been friends for 12 years but moved to different places in the mid west. This house was a great meeting point for all of us to reconnect! There was lots of space to hang out. The kitchen was spacious and well equipped. There were many great bed rooms with super comfortable beds. The hosts Wanda and Ashley communicated very quickly and clearly with us. They were very flexible when we asked for an early check in. We met Wanda at the end and she showed us all the work that she is doing on the attic/3rd floor. The house will be even better in a few months!! Great choice if you need a place to stay in Fort Wayne!

This house is very nice and in a great location to experience Fort Wayne! You can absolutely walk right downtown or to the river park. There is plenty of space for a big group to be together comfortably in the family and dining rooms, and it has all the amenities that you need in a house!

We came to Fort Wayne unexpectedly for a funeral for my brother-in-law. I can't thank Wanda enough for letting us enjoy her gorgeous home. During such a difficult time, this house was a slice of joy for us all. The house was a central meeting place for all the family as the huge living and dining room fit all of the extended family. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed. The kids mostly ate at home and the adults ate out at local restaurants which are abundant in the area. The beds were very comfortable and we had all the linens and bedding we needed for all our guests. After spending long, emotional days at the church and cemetery, the beds in the main bedroom were a phenomenal relief. I can't tell you how well we slept each night and how refreshed we felt each morning. Everyone reported that they slept very well. The house is centrally located and everything was close. We were able to walk to Starbucks and McDonalds in the morning and nothing was more than 30 min away. Although the house IS on a BUSY street, only the very light sleepers heard the traffic at night. Otherwise, all of us thought it was no problem at all. Some of the family did not appreciate the fact that there was only one bathroom to share on the top floor (where 90% of the bedrooms are located), but it was easy to share. (The toilet is separate from the shower area). There is a bathroom adjacent to the bedroom in the kitchen (you have to go through the bedroom to get there) and a bathroom in the basement. There were no lines at any of the bathrooms! The basement had an adorable play area for kids and a ping pong and pool table. Although we didn't get to make use of the space, it was nice to have the option. A note: the basement beds really would only be used for overflow. The entire house was perfectly clean and simply beautiful. The check in and out was very easy and stress-free. Wanda was the most amazing host, answering my many questions right away and very accommodating to all our various needs. We are very grateful to Wanda for making this difficult time spent in Fort Wayne a pleasant one. You won't regret renting this incredible house!
